The Polish national broadcaster have opted for a national final for the first time since they returned to the Eurovision Song Contest back in 2014. There will be 9 acts taking to the stage in Poland hoping to fly the Polish flag in Stockholm.
The 9 acts are:
Natalia Szroeder “Lustra”
Edyta Górniak “Grateful”
Taraka “In the Rain”
Aleksandra Gintrowska “Missing”
Michał Szpak “Color of Your Life”
Margaret “Cool Me Down”
Kaisia Moś “Addiction”
Dorota Osińka “Universal”
Napoli “My Universe”
There are some names you may already know. Edyta represented Poland in the 1994 contest with “To Nie Ja”, which was Poland’s first ever Eurovision song, and also gave them their best ever placing, 2nd. Napoli have entered the Belorussian national final this year with the same song “My Universe” and ended 2nd, with less than 1000 votes between them and the winner. Big names not related to Eurovision have entered, such as Michał Szpak and Margaret.
The nine acts will be introduced on Świat Się Kręci (a TV show in Poland) tonight. Poland will select their song on the 5th of March
