Although the United Kingdom’s broadcaster (BBC) have started preparations early, and revealed information regarding the selection process, there are still speculations regarding the full plan of the BBC, the broadcaster is is currently keeping silent regarding the finer details of the selection.
Guy Freeman, the Eurovision Executive for the BBC is giving nothing away. When www.escunited.com asked the UK’s ‘organiser’ for specific details on the way in which the UK singer / song will be selected, he stated that “we will meet the required EBU deadline, there’s nothing more I can say at the moment – but as soon as soon as we are in a position to do so, we certainly will!”
Freeman, refused to specify whether the United Kingdom would opt for an internal selection, or a national final, as well as whether the 5 time winners of the contest had already selected a representative.
