As Beovizija is just days away we are bringing last set of interviews. Today we talked with Ana Milenković, who was part of Beauty Queens, group who followed Marija Šerifović in her victory back in 2007. Ana also took part at Beovizija in the past as part of Blah blah band and Beauty Queens. She took a small break to focus on her family, but now she is back, with a beautiful ballad Tajna which she will perform 11th at the second semifinal on February 29th. Here is what Ana had to say regarding her participation.
Ana, what did motivate you to apply for Beovizija again?
I actually didn’t plan to participate. It all happened spontaneously as the authors of Tajna, Dušan Bačić and Dejan Nikolić, gave me a call and I couldn’t say no.
How would you describe your song?
My song is a love song, a strong song, full of tension, but yet again tender like a swan. Its a festival like song and I like to describe it as Eurovisiony. Anyway, you can all listen to it, watch the video and make the final judgement on your own. 🙂
Are you preparing something special for your stage performance?
I can promise to everyone who will watch Beovizija they will enjoy seeing my performance. Talented Alen Sestarić, an artist, a professional, there are so many words to describe him, is in charge of my choreography, while Nevena Kragić will design the outfit I will be wearing. And let me also mention two lovely ladies that will be present on stage with me, giving me full support – Ana Vurcer and Jovana Jevtić.
How would you describe Ana in three words?
Emotional, energetic, self-critical.
Would be so kind to tell us something interesting about yourself?
I have a very strong character, I am strict but tolerant. I always try to find the best in people. Some might say I am stubborn. I can not imagine my life without family, music and a work-out.
Have you been watching Eurovision in previous years? Did like some of the entries?
I have to admit that I haven’t been watching it, but I did give all of my support to Serbian representatives.
What would it mean to you to represent Serbia at Eurovision as a solo artist?
It would be a huge honor to represent Serbia. <3
