Uzari and Maimuna have won Eurofest 2015 and will therefore represent Belarus in the Eurovision Song Contest, it has been announced.
The competition took place between 15 songs tonight and “Time” by the singer and violinist will be Belarus’ entry in Vienna, after the song gained 76 points.
Alexander Rybak’s girlband Milki were strong favourites to win and represent Belarus but in the end their song “My Accent” finished 4th with 47 points. The Belorussian public’s favourite, Muzzart, also failed to set the scoreboard alight with the juries, only achieving 30 points overall.
Anastasia Malashkevich finished second, returnee Gunesh finished third and Alexey Gross rounded out the top five.
