Spain’s latest selection method, which involves selecting a finalist from the popular singing competition Operación Triunfo, is coming into clear focus now, and after last night’s gala of the show we know the names of four of the artists that will fight to represent Spain in neighbouring Portugal.
The three artists who immediately made it through are;
- Amaia
- Miriam
- Alfred
The fourth finalist was chosen by the teachers at the OT academy;
- Ariana
The fifth and final participant in the Operación Triunfo final will be selected next Monday between Agoney and Ana Guerra, with the public vote deciding who gets the final place.
The five acts will then battle it out with original, carefully curated entries in the Eurovision national final on January 29th.
