San Marino’s song will be released on March 13th 2015 along with the official preview video according to the braodcaster RTV.
An open competition for filmmakers, directors, screenwriters, cinematographers and costume designers was made at the same time and only residents of Italy or San Marino are invited to take part. If interested, please send your resume & portfolio to [email protected]. These people will all work together to create a unique video for the Sanmarinese artists.
This means San Marino is once again waiting until the last minute to reveal their song which has become a tradition in recent years for the microstate.
Michele Perniola and Anita Simoncini will represent San Marino in Vienna!
Neither Vincenze Perniola nor Anita Simoncini are newcomers to the Eurovision fandom: Vincenze marked San Marino’s debut to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest last year. With his song O-o-O Sole intorno a me he finished 10th (out of 12). Anita was a part of The Peppermints, a girlband that represented the microstate in this year’s JESC just two weeks ago. She will turn 16 right on time before the contest in May and is therefore eligible to participate.
