Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät

Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2015 is over and we have a winner. Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät won over the hearts of the people and are going to represent Finland at the 60th Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna with the song Aina mun pitää.

This was the fourth edition of Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu (UMK). The competition consisted of four shows that commenced with the first of three semi-finals on 7 February 2015 and came to a close today with the Grand Final. The four shows were hosted by Rakel Liekki and Roope Salminen.

Three songs from each Semi qualified bringing the total number of Finalists to nine. The televoters had 90% of the say while the juries have a random 10% of say in the outcome.

In the end, the televoters decided that Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät deserves to represent Finland in Vienna and we wish the act the best of luck.
