The Netherlands’ national broadcaster AVROTROS has confirmed that Waylon’s song for 2018 will be revealed on March 10th, although the actual song itself will be in public rotation long before this!

How? The Dutch broadcasting corporation has confirmed that Waylon will be a guest on the show De Wereld draait door for five days in a row, beginning on February 23rd. On each day the country-inspired singer will release a new song, with one of these five songs being revealed as the Dutch entry for Lisbon on the 10th.

Regular commentator Cornald Maas, while appearing on the show, has revealed that the performer has also been recording in Nashville to gain inspiration for the Eurovision track.

Waylon participated in Eurovision in 2014 with Ilse deLange as the other lead member of her band The Common Linnets, finishing in a shock 2nd place to Austria. Can he go one better in 2018?
