When will they release the list of participants?

I haven't seen any mention of an official date yet, but given that the list was released on the 30th of November for both this year and last year, I'd imagine they might do the same again.

This is some lukewarm information but I know Viktor Frisk's (Samir & Viktor) best friend and he confirmed that at least Viktor will be in 2018

Right now the only thing I'm worried about is their outfits. I don't want them to go all glitter/gold/silver/lamé again. For the last few years they wear such outfits in their shows and while the Swedish audience is used to it, it won't work in ESC. Of course, we have to see the whole concept etc but even I (a HUGE fan) am tired of these outfits. I want them to go back to 2008-2010 outfits. More colors! However, I'm expecting something like Blame it on the disco outfits because in 2018 it's gonna be 20 years since they were created so I'm guessing they're gonna go big for that anniversary.

Anyway, I'm super excited! Hope they make it to the final! I finally got lucky and I have a ticket for the first row!

PS I was so sure they would take part this year because of that anniversary.

I'm not the biggest fan of schlager but that was so good! I hope they return with a bop as good as that one or even better

According to Wiwibloggs Alcazar isn't in Aftonbladet's list of rumored participants anymore. I really hope Alcazar will compete in MF 2018.

They are in. They basically confirmed it last night by saying (singing actually) that they have important news to announce on Tuesday (the Melodifestivalen press conference day). Followed by the hashtag alcazar2018

Wait with the judgement day essay until after all artist have been presented on Tuesday morning

I actually meet Björkman last Tuesday in my hometown Eksjö, he was there to promote his self-biography book that has just been released for only one month ago. I didn´t managed to ask him about the upcoming MF though.

I do wonder which artists that will be as we swedes call "Dragplåster" which simply means which artists that will be most hyped and attracted to make people get interest, Alcazar and Wiktoria could be two such acts, I don´t Think Wiktoria will compete for a third time in the row though
