The dream team begins to take shape – so who’s next? It’s time to see who you wanted to sing for Hungary in 2016. They’ve been in the finals since 2010, but is it time for a Hungarian win?

Passed brought a fresh sound to A Dal 2015 and many fans want to see them back next year!
Passed brought a fresh sound to A Dal 2015 and many fans want to see them back next year!

With one of the most popular national selections across Europe with a number of more alternative entries, it’s no surprise that Passed were one of the most popular artists in A Dal 2015, and they’ve won our reader poll. Over the last few years we’ve seen some real changes in the genres associated with Eurovision as dance, dubstep, rock and rap have increasingly made appearances at the contest, but Passed’s trap entry “Mesmerize” would’ve been a breath of fresh air in Vienna. They couldn’t beat Boggie, but perhaps their return in A Dal would be welcomed enough to see them in Stockholm?

Second place was shared between two familiar faces who have also taken part in A Dal previously; Viktor Király and Gabi Tóth. This is a running theme amongst many suggested artists including Bogi and Gigi Radics. 2007 participant Magdi Rusza was also a suggestion!

The full suggestions for Hungary (draws in random order);

Passed, Viktor Király, Gabi Tóth, Bogi, Gigi Radics, Anti Fitness Club, Tibor Kocsis, Gábor Alfréd Fehérvári, Düki, Bori Péterfy, Kerekes Band, Volkova Sisters, Renata Tolvai, Fool Moon, Magdi Rusza, Dávid Fekete
