Sweden is the grand champion of the OGAE Poll 2023, which marks the country’s second victory in a row the one of the biggest international fan poll.

Right before the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 kicks off in Liverpool, we get a glimpse of what the fandom thinks of each song through the annual OGAE Poll. And today, the 17th edition of the fan poll is ending with the victory of Sweden, who’s represented by Loreen with Tattoo.

For a month, 42 OGAE clubs all over Europe and the world have revealed their points Eurovision style to determine the grand winner of the OGAE Poll 2023. And this year’s winner is none other than Eurovision 2012 winner Loreen from Sweden ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ช!

Sweden has received 12 points 21 times!

Loreen ends the voting with an impressive score of 423 points, 29 points ahead of Finland who missed the first place in the last votes. France finishes 3rd with 302 points, and we have Norway 4th with 263 points and Austria 5th with 228 points.

This is the second time in a row that the country wins the OGAE Poll, after Cornelia Jakobs won it last year.

Fun fact, Sweden received the top score 21 times out of 42, which is exactly 50% of all the 12 points awarded this year. Moreover, only 5 countries received the top score from at least one OGAE club.

A total of 42 OGAE clubs have voted in this year’s poll, which is one less than last year, but more people voted: 4853 individual votes were gathered compared to 4438 in 2022.
