The Junior Eurovision 2019 stage has finally been revealed by the contest organisers, with a Polish production designer the brains behind the exciting design.

TVP have gone all-out for Poland’s first hosting of a Eurovision music event, with a colourful and unique backdrop designed by Giorgios Stylianou-Matsis, who also designed stages for various events in Poland including The X Factor, Miss Polonia, Got Talent, Miss World and various high-profile concerts and music festivals.

The unique stage design sees a central square platform with rounded corners as the centre-piece, flanked by what appear to be four colourful musical scores. The “LED ribbon” that leads from the green room is also designed to give the stage a “light, spacious feel”.

This year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place on November 24th in the Gliwice Arena, after Roksana Węgiel won the competition in Minsk last year. She will act as one of the show’s hosts, alongside Ida Nowakowska and Aleksander Sikora. 19 countries will take part, with Azerbaijan and Israel withdrawing and Spain returning to compete for the first time since 2006.
