The Swiss regional television broadcasters; SF (German speaking), RTS (French speaking) and RSI (Italian speaking) along with Swiss-German radio DRS will each present a number of songs to compete in the Swiss national contest, which will take place on Saturday, December 10th. The winner will be decided, again, completely by televote.

Swiss German broadcaster, SF will use the successful internet-voting platform to choose their entries for the national final, like they did last year. The uploading-platform for songs will be online from September 1st 2011 – all entries for Eurovision 2012 must not have be published or heard over television, radio, in concerts or over the internet etc. before this date.

More information about the selection will be publishedd online once the current Eurovision is over.

yes! his "il pleut de lor" was one of my favours that year..very very underrated

The biggest problem was the background - I think, with good background singers the song would be better. The song was really great.

They have good folk but Unsterblich is pop music.

If I am not mistaken that was the last one peaking at #1 on their sell charts (2009) because that music gets rather promoted on tv shows (similar to Austria, Germany and North Italy) actually. No reason not to give it a try, of course.

This was in the online selection but did not make it through the national final on tv.
