Hello) I would like to ask if there is a word "diupav" in Swedish language. (I have a talk about linguistic with a guy and he said that "diupav" means high flow water in Swedish.) Thank you.
No, simple as that
I'm not swedish, I only speak a bit but I know there is a word "djup" which means "deep" and there is "hav" which means "sea"
So I would say "diupav" sounds like "deep sea" for Swedish people... but high flow water? I don't know
Clever, you're right and I'm truly impressed. I would say "djuphav" is a somewhat technical term, nothing you would say in daily speech, just as "deep sea". The proper Swedish word for flowing water is "ström" (stream).
