I am really looking forward to seeing this on stage tonight. Not because I like the song - but because there is suspense to what Roxen might sound like! In a year where all artists seem to deliver vocally - in pops Roxen....and the ESC haters (but even so watching the show for some strange reason) will have their "proof" of the year....

Like others have said: Moving so much around makes it even harder for her to hit the notes. But maybe they thought she couldn't anyway, so they might as well carry her around and make the stage show dynamic.

I wasn't surprised by the outcome tbh. Her voice was shaky tonight, she didn't get all the right notes and she gave a rather mechanical performance.... sorry for her as she was one of my favs last year.

Roxen got screwed by staging that worked against her massively. Romania fucked up. I really hope they get her back in for next year and then do a staging concept that actually works for Roxen.

poor roxen her career is practically over in Romania she can only hope to move somewhere else where Eurovision isn’t as big . I blame her management for this she just wasn’t ready.

Well... Can't say that fate was unexpected or underserved.

I won't blame anyone because I did not really follow Roxen's journey, but clearly something was off: either she cannot sing without digital post-correction, or the staging making her move around was not the brightest idea.

I liked the presentation though. But yeah, she was noticeably vocally all over the place tonight, as she was in the previews.

I've never been into the song personally, but I'm sure it would have fought for a spot had she gotten her act together.

I absolutely loved the staging, and though her vocals weren't on point it was still enough to allow the message and quality of the song to shine through. In fact, I think they added a depth of vulnerability that fits very well with the whole vibe of the song.
But I totally get why it failed to qualify, especially in such a strong semi. I'm really sad for Roxen, hopefully she can return in a few years when she matures

This song will forever be in my top 10 of Eurovision 2021. Roxen was let down by over ambitious staging. Her team should have known how difficult this song is to perform - with so little time to breathe - and given her staging which amplified the song, but instead they made it even harder to perform. Roxen deserved better.

Choreo was incredible! So emotional and great presentation of the song. Even you didn't know a single English word, you could've understood the meaning behind the lyrics The problem was Roxen being in the center of the choreo and singing the song at the same time. It was too tiring for her in the rehearsals and it was too tiring for her in the semi performance. Many people warned Romania but they sticked to their idea.

And what the hell was that outfit? It would be ok if she sang a sweet, mid-tempo love song but her look (hair, make up, dress in total) and her song were telling 2 different stories. Even her outfit in the rehearsal was better.

I'm really sorry for Roxen

Another unnecessary staging for a song that could stand out by itself. She’s got lost in the middle of a mess. I’m sorry for her, but she doesn’t have enough stage presence to get the main attention while everything else is happening. It was a bunch of nice elements: choreography, lighting, screening, etc. but they didn’t work together.
