The Lebanese law forbids Lebanon competing in contests or anything like that with Israel.

However, that law recognises Israel by acknowledging its existence.
Therefore, that law is against the law.
Therefore, recognition of Israel is permitted.
So Lebanon should be able to participate.

Actually recognition thing is absurd. You don't have to recognize it officialy, but why should you interfere in social stuff ?

We don't recognize Cyprus. But we have been participating for years. I could be able to vote for them last year.

I invite Lebanon to urbanity.
