ELIS & MARKÉTA KONVIČKOVÁ
BYE, BYE!

Markéta Konvičková is an 18 years old singer from Czech Silesia, which is one of the most successful regions of Czech music, thanks to names such as Tomáš Klus, Ewa Farna or Charlie Straight. Markéta became famous because of her appearance on Česko Slovenská Superstar (Czecho-Slovak Idol) in 2009.
Despite being one of the front-runners, she was eliminated quite surprisingly in the early stage of the final rounds.
However, that hasn't stopped her from having successful career. She already released 2 studio albums and 1 live DVD.
Bye, bye! is a duet that she wrote together with Elis, yet-to-be-famous talented young singer, who also comes from the region of Czech Silesia. This song is one of her first singles, so hopefully, more people will become familiar with her, because not only is she an amazing singer, she is also a great songwriter.
I hope you will like this kinda retro-vibe-sounding song!

LANUGO - CÍNOVÍ VOJÁCI

The Czech band Lanugo is a self-styled multi-genre act balancing at the edge of acoustic and electronic space, and in doing so creating a notoriously intimate atmosphere. Their live performances offer an overwhelming and immersive experience, which is heightened by the sheer talent and professionalism of the young musicians.
Lanugo is an unique and well-established music formation on the Czech music scene. It is well liked by Czech critics and audiences alike. The band released an eponymous debut album in 2009 on the prestigious jazz label Animal Music, although jazz is just one of their styles, along with pop, rock and electro based music. Cínoví vojáci is taken from the band's long awaited and self-produced second album ‘Lanugo, 2011’ which was released in November 2011.

Many people here never heard of them as well which is really sad, because they're great. Většinou je znaj jenom takoví hudební fajnšmekři .)) I discovered them just a few months ago when doing a deep research for my next entries. I'm glad you like it and that you found something new from Czech music scene that's the beauty of these contests

EDIT: I sent a totally different artist after all But It's still an alternative rock song
