Don't forget Zoe's good draw both in the semi final and in the final!

I am not sure if draw really matters. It only has a point if we think people are stupid. I never caught myself voting for someone because of his draw.

I was hoping for 100 points and we came close. I did not expect these jury scores, I thought jury and televotes would be the same.

But in the end our song was too inoffensive for the televotes. OK, it is not the biggest surprise, the result in the end is really fine. But really, did we really have to end up last in the televote AGAIN?! Each of our results is so extreme between televotes and juries.

Except for :au:, I dont see a country that does not deserve to have a better result than we do. I am thankful for four beautiful years of Eurovision in a row and I hope we make a fifth.

Hey Austria, you have 15.5 times as many points as Germany has. Your musical efforts are about 15 times more successful than Germany's pathetic attempt.
You can be proud of yourselves. Congratulations!!!

I actually voted for Austria (and Portugal too), damn 0 points from public vote was not deserved. Still at least the juries thankfully gave this a much better result.

I voted one time, but rather based on sympathy - I like Nathan, and a 16th place is okay. Better than Germany in 5 years.

People didn't like this at all. I thought that cheesy sweet stagings are good for televoters, but I can see it's juries who love cheesy stuff...

I still don't get it

Maybe juries liked the fact, that he wrote the song himself (with the help of a friend). I thought he would get 0 points with juries and many points on televote. But I blame the running order for this, on twitter many people wrote about Nathan.

Wow, we almost pulled a Natalia Kelly in the semifinal. 4th with juries, 14th with televotes, but Denmark is even more extreme with only 5 points from televoting.

What a bizarre result! I was surprised this even qualified. The staging was great though, and the performance, but the song should never have been considered as an ESC entry in the first place.

I still don't understand how this made it. I don't think he did either judging by how over the moon (hah) he seemed both in the press conference and on the final.

On a nausea level, this one performer reminds me a lot of Gianluca Bezzina.

It's amazing Austrians can look down on Germans with something like this. Nathan had this permanent "yay! home alone at last!" look on his face the entire time. Go figure.

I really didn't expect such a result! I don't know why it was liked that much by the juries and why it flopped so badly with the televoting! It had quite the same kind of staging as Zoe had last year so expected a placement between 20 and 25 with the juries between 10 and 20 with the televoting....

But who cares about the 0 points in the end? I guess 16th place is a decent result and of course I'm hoping for another qualification next year! :) Good job everyone! (Nice staging and good promotion!) Maybe let's try with a better song next year...
