Updating the list now that we know all the songs and they've had some time to grow on me! I'm curious to try and compare them in a little more depth this time around and see how much I prefer one song over another. +0 for a complete tie, +1 for a slight preference, +2 for a considerable preference, and +3 for a massive preference (and the opposite of all of those if I prefer last year's song).

So it seems like, while I definitely prefer last year's songs either way, it's not as far apart as it might seem when I consider how close it is in each case. I guess that means that when I like last year's songs more, it's not usually by much, but when I prefer this year's, it's by a greater extent. Would be interested to see how other people compared with the same system

so it's a tie game in terms of preferences
overall, 2015 had one amazing song which made my top 5 (Belarus) but faded away quickly,
2016 doesn't have any that are of that quality although Cyprus, France and Estonia are't far off.2016 also has a a shallow gradient in terms of decline near the top end compared to 2015.
If i was forced to pick, I would pick 2016 due to a better pack vs one amazing song
