Over a 170 points for this song from the televoters? I’m sorry but you must be kidding me. Usually deserves it but not today. This is the most cliche italo ballad in history.
I'm listing them as fast as possible in one list but https://eurovision.tv/event/liverpool-2023/first-semi-final/results if you want to look yourselfare we getting the split results or what? I want to go to bed but I feel like I have to know who just missed out on the final

Final thoughts. Congratulations to Loreen for a professional performance of a competently-written song.
It's all subjective, I know, but this feels like the first time in a while that we've got the wrong winner. By that, I mean a song that doesn't advance the contest in any way like the previous winners...
2014 - Conchita. No notes necessary
2015 - Måns marries song and staging and takes it all up a level
2016 - Jamala mixes tradition and modern, and beats Russia too
2017 - a beautifully written Portuguese-language ballad
2018 - an in-your-face pro-feminine banger
2019 - a classic bit of balladry with a great hook
2021 - Måneskin. Need I say more?
2022 - Kalush again combine tradition and modern. No English either
2023 - Erm... The cliché of "stuck on me like a tattoo" wheeled out over some standard Swedish pop
Maybe we've just been spoiled lately. But I will finish with this (and it's not an original question): is Tattoo really better than Hold me Closer?

This is the worst piece of Eurovision news I have ever received why the fuck did they have to be that close im so annoyed now i would have been happier if they did shit insteadLATVIA WAS 3 POINTS AWAY FROM QUALIFIYING INSTEAD OF THAT LOBSTER GAMER TWINK I AM GOING TO LOSE MY MIND
This was a two horse race from the beginning. Period. Everyone knew. Before I say anything else I'll have you know Loreen wasn't even in my top 5 so I say this because I'm sick of hearing it every year, not cause I am some sort of fanboy.
Anyway, I wish people could stop this. Trying to claim that she's not worthy or this being "not ok" is cringe af, people act like whiny kids. Not having your favorite win or getting annoyed by Sweden frequently being favored by the jury does not make her unworthy. Many try to frame it as a jury problem but I bet you half of the people complaining wouldn't be mad if the roles were reversed and Finland won with jury votes.
Finland was 4th with the juries. How can you claim they got "screwed over by juries"? Loreen was 2nd with the public vote and yet it's somehow unworthy? Give me a break. I would understand your frustration if Loreen was very unpopular with the public but won the jury vote, but this was absolutely not the case. At the end of the day, the jury system is what Eurovision has always used and it's part of the core concept. The victory is deserved cause Loreen did well in both parts of the voting, saying it's not is just nonsense.
That being said, I do think 50% of the votes belonging to the jury is too much and I wish they would change it to 1/3 instead. And I actually did prefer Cha Cha Cha over Tattoo, but my main favorites were Austria and Australia!
PS. Nothing personal, but it gets old. Much love

Loreen was so enthusiastic tonight, I'm surprised she bothered to go on stage instead of asking the organizers to send her the trophy via UPS
Yeah, but it still was such a BANGER! I was so sure that people would appreciate it more.... Before tonight I wasn't convinced, but now I can truly admit - running order screwed Austria's final position big time!I was thinking, maybe we can catch up with Estonia in the televote, but I forgot we opened the running
