Three days ago we reported about Conchita Wurst’s plans to release her new single on 8 November. Now a few more details have been revealed.

The title of Conchita’s new song will be Heroes. Fans of the Eurovision winner can already brace themselves for something completely different to Rise Like a Phoenix. “I was surprised by the fact that I can sing something so cool,” the Austrian singer revealed. She also pointed out that she wanted to try out a completely different genre this time. There won’t be a big orchestral backing track either.

Conchita will also have an opportunity to present the song to a large audience on the day of her single release: In Graz she will perform at Wetten, dass..?, a big live TV show that will be broadcast in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

When it comes to Conchita’s album, we’ll have to be a little bit more patient – it will only come out next year.
