Armenia’s Depi Evratesil, while still only in its infancy, has certainly stepped up its game for the upcoming season! For the first time in the competition original songs will be competing to represent Armenia, much like in the traditional national final formats across Europe. It’s not long until we can find out what Armenia has to show us in 2018 – the songs are due out next week!

Armenia’s national broadcaster ARMTV is set to reveal the songs competing in Depi Evratesil in four different chunks, as can be seen below;

As you can see, five songs will be revealed each day, with the first batch including perhaps the most famous participant, Genealogy’s Tamar Karelian, who also became known for her 2009 hit “New Day” which gained traction in America and beyond.

The Armenian selection, Depi Evratesil, is due to take place on Saturday 24th February 2018, with semi-finals kicking off on February 3rd.

Armenia finished 7th in Kyiv with “Fly With Me” but has yet to win the contest. Is 2018 the year that Armenia bring the title home and the 2019 contest to Yerevan?

Which act are #YOU looking forward to the most in Depi Evratesil? Share your thoughts with us on our forum HERE, or join the discussion below and on social media!
