I placed down my tenner on us after I was told by my uncle who works at the BBC that it's going to be Jane McDonald representing United Kingdom this year at the Eurovision Song Contest.

It's so odd if it's the heavy Sam rumours that is driving the odds- Surely anyone who bets on Eurovision this early would know that Spaceman is, at it's absolute maximum, going to do similarly to Molly and Lucie.

I honestly think it's a mix of both. People thinking it is one of the many other acts rumoured to be doing it and having a flutter now whilst they can still get good odds (assuming the UK continues to rise up that is). And because people in the UK do fancy a flutter now and again quite a bit, so even if it isn't any of those acts and it is just someone they dragged off the street they'll put a bet on because "You never know".

Because who knows? Maybe this year will be the year that beige is in baby!
