My theory is that the running order hurt them because it was a very long evening with many noisy/uptempo entries, so by the time Sweden came on viewers had gotten tired? It's weird how this finished +60p behind the fake italian impersonator of Estonia giving the RO and the number of streams. Still very stable in a year too spread out. And overall, one of their best results outside of the victories so i don't wanna hear any excuses for not sending a song in swedish again.
Yes and it could be a consequence of this new ridiculous politic of opening the voting before a single act performed to which Estonia benefited for standing out earlier in that camp and receiving votes from casuals who just follow the final. My theory is that the running order hurt them because it was a very long evening with many noisy/uptempo entries, so by the time Sweden came on viewers had gotten tired?

Interesting. Normally everyone wants the spot Sweden had...My theory is that the running order hurt them because it was a very long evening with many noisy/uptempo entries, so by the time Sweden came on viewers had gotten tired?
I always felt thatMaybe it´s just me but they also looked rather "tired" during their performance. There just wasn´t that much energy behind it, especially compared to the NF but also to the semi.![]()
I always felt thathas lost momentum. It wasn’t as charming/ entertaining than at MF anymore. Maybe that was really the case. They also felt a bit tired to me…
Yeah, I think Kevin especially seemed a little bit sick of it.I always felt thathas lost momentum. It wasn’t as charming/ entertaining than at MF anymore. Maybe that was really the case. They also felt a bit tired to me…

This clearly was more of a regional Nordic and Baltic phenomenon unfortunately, not reason to overthink it. Sure the chorus sounded worse than during Mello due to them leaving their backing singer behind, but both Joost and Käärijä show that people don't really care about if it singing or mixing sound perfect if the song is good enough.
This simply didn't have as much universal appeal as we thought, epadunk is much more of a local genre than gabber or Käärijä's/BL's Rammstein pastiches.
The same stuff applied last year and that did not stop Croatia from scoring 337 from #23. And they had Ukraine go #3 and score even higher than Estonia this year too.My theory is that the running order hurt them because it was a very long evening with many noisy/uptempo entries, so by the time Sweden came on viewers had gotten tired?
