Sadly enough for Iceland, I am old enough to remember when Hera represented them back in 2010 in my backyard with Je Ne Sais Quoi. I really really really loved that song, but Scared of Heights just doesn't do it for me. I am so sorry Iceland, but I really think (politics aside) that Wild West/Vestrid Villt would have been a better choice this time around. But its nice to see Hera again!

It was genuinely my second favourite of the ten after blankifurs English version, I'm not super pro Palestine or anything I just enjoyed the bass line alot but I don't doubt a good chunk of the support had nothing to do with the song

Anyways, what is the general reaction in Iceland? I read that Hera was one of the few (only?) participant that confirmed she would participate in Eurovision if she won Söngvakeppnin (might be a reason why people voted for her so heavily). Are the full results of the show published? Are people calling for Hera not to go to Eurovision?
I have so many questions I realize now
