- Some hint, which have to do with dance

He's from the US and about to release a new album (his last one flopped).

His single "Time For Miracles" is part of the film credits of "2012".

He's got a very special relation to Finland, e.g. his former long-term boyfriend is from Finland and he even got arrested in Finland after a fight at a gay bar.

Yeah at this point I think this is confirmed to be Lxandra, since they posted a picture from the UMK backroom and the ballad related hint picture matches their style perfectly too.

how does that help to find out who it will be?

It might not be by itself, but when you have guesses for everything it helps a lot in fact. For example: If I guess Robin for #2 and Bess #3, this means one of them has to be wrong because in fact, despite Robin is younger, he has a longer career/more experience than Bess. So I need to reconsider the other later. And If I am completely confident about someone for the #2, I already can rule out options that has started their career later than the person in #2.

Btw I'm sure neither of them are in, just using it as an example.

I don't think that there is going to be any foreign national artist, except Finns.

- Has made history (On tehnyt historiaa)

This must be a band. First hint refers to Teräsbetoni, because they have a song called "Taivas lyö tulta", but I don't think it is them. It might be Poets of the Fall, because they have een speculated to be one of UMK finalists.
