I dislike our entry for the 3rd year in a row... This year I'm not as passionately opposed to it though, because I didn't like any of the songs to begin with.

look at the flag lmao
I was kinda biased looking to this entry since i'm not a Sweden fan really, but overall i liked the song. It is generic but i liked the disco bits and the overall presentation with the masculine guys doing feminine poses  It's the perfect line between a H&M commercial and a Swedish entry.

well it was my fave to win melfest but it's not a bad song, it's actually really catchy. like for now I've place it somewhere around 16-20 but I'm quite sure it will eventually grow on me and be on my top ten... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It definitely is catchy. Catchy infectious plastic pop.

I just can't get my head around why the mainstream thought that Melfest sucked until the 4th round and then the 4th round finalists did not really matter, but Robin, Nano and Benjamin (xheart) did.

Sleazy suits. That's on point. xlol

But you are way too self-demeaning although I agree that Heroes should not have won in 2015. It was gimmick over substance.

I would not have minded Sweden winning last year though. I liked Frans and 5th place felt a bit mediocre.

If there is a lesson from this year, it would be that the iTunes and Spotify charts can be quite deceptive to predict the winner. Wiktoria has been doing the best on charts and today she reached even N.01, yet she received third highest points from public.

She was second highest, just a few votes behind Nano.

Sweden is now 2nd in odds, yesterday before Robin won we were 3rd.
But yeah it will flop....

Would be fun if we had a :se: vs :it: again. ;)

After last night's shockwave I am coming to terms with the decision. The Spanish selection was tougher anyway and too much heartbreak is not healthy. So I start to like the song. I concede it is catchy and infectious, yet totally soulless and plastic.

Definitely not. I would freak out, if Sweden wins, unless Italy and Sweden switch songs.

It is a great song with a fantastic performance. Deceptively simple, slick and sophisticated. Eurovision 2017 has just got much more exciting. Thank you Sweden!

I guess people let go of voting for Wiktoria after she was killed off by the juries. I think she'd might have ended up with the highest televoting if she was high with the juries as well. Ofcourse this is pure speculation.

Obviously. What would be the point of voting for her after that jury score? Her song was not that interesting to be absolutely honest. It would have been a very poor entry by Swedish standards and it would not stand out come may. Robin and Nano were the only options if the aim was to keep last years' quality or Jon Henrik if they chose to be spectacular on the kitch/cheap line. Sweden chose very well, even if they needed a litle help from the outside ;)

Well.. I adore As I Lay Me Down and I hate I Can't Go On xshrug . I don't think the IJ made the right choice, and apparently the Swedish people agreed with me on some level. Wiktoria beat Robin's televoting even when people stopped voting for her. Shouldn't it be the Swedes who decide who is going to represent Sweden at ESC? The Swedish people were perfectly able to choose a good song on their own, without a little help.

Someone invented the juries though. Not me. Not today. And not only in Sweden either xshrug
