Tonight in Italy was the Final of Sanremo Giovani! The contest brought together young and emerging artists from around the country to compete for three places at the big Sanremo Music Festival in February.
Chosen through a combination of direct auditions with the broadcaster and a parallel selection called Area Sanremo, these were the twelve artists who performed tonight:

- bnkr44- Effetti speciali
- Lor3n- Fiore d’inverno
- Nausica – Favole
- Dipinto – Criminali
- SANTI FRANCESI- Occhi tristi
- Tancredi- Perle
- Vale LP- Stronza
- Fellow – Alieno
- Omini – Mare Forza 9oi
- Jacopo Sol- Cose che non sai
While the show is broadcast live, there is no public vote for Sanremo Giovani; instead, the Musical Commission and Amadeus each have 50% of the voting power. Of these 12 acts, three were chosen to compete with the Big Artists at Sanremo in February:

We will get to hear the songs for the first time on February 6 in Teatro Ariston. Usually, we don’t see all 30 songs performed together until Night 3 of the festival, but a format change this year means we will see them on Night 1!
