It has been over six months since Måneskin won Eurovision, and it looks like their continued wave of success won’t be coming to an end any time soon.

Last night, the Italian glam rockers appeared on the venerable sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live, an honor for any up-and-coming artist on the North American music charts. Former SNL cast member and current star of Peacock’s MacGruber was the headlining guest of the episode.

For the band’s first number, they performed “Beggin”, the song that would be most recognizable to their burgeoning fanbase in The US, putting names and faces to the song that had impressive success on the Billboard charts last year.

The band’s second performance was the first single they released following their Eurovision victory, “I Wanna Be Your Slave”. The song’s explicit lyrics required Damiano to self-censor certain words, which he did in typical cheeky fashion.

Speaking of fashion, the band was clad in flamboyant style, sporting snake skin, patterned suits, and fur sleeves. Though unconfirmed, it seems likely a majority of their wardrobe was provided by Gucci, considering the recent relationship between the band and the fashion house.

The quartet’s appearance on the show seemed to have the desired effect, with Twitter full of reactions from newly-converted fans.

This is not the last high-profile North American booking on Måneskin‘s calendar. It was announced last week that the gang will be performing at the Coachella Music Festival in April.
