RTÉ Radio 1 have aired the third act hoping to represent Ireland in the Eurovision song contest. Janet Grogan will be competing in the Late Late Show on 4 Febuary with the song “Ashes of yesterday”.

Grogan is no stranger to the Song Contest, having provided backing support for both Nicky Byrne (2016) and Ryan O’Shaughnessy (2018). She became known to the Irish public after competing in the sing-off show, Last Singer Standing, where she finished 6th in the final.

Yesterday, RTÉ had revealed Brendan Murray and Rachel Goode as other contenders for Ireland. You can read more about them in yesterday’s post.

Radio host Ryan Tubridy also announced that he’ll be playing Brooke Scullion’s entry, “That’s Rich” tomorrow.
