Go_A’s lead singer, Kateryna Pavlenko, was part of a duo performing “Imagine” at last night’s Serie A football game between Juventus (based in this year’s host city of Turin) and Inter Milan, in a show of solidarity between the Italian and Ukrainian people and “to remind the whole world of the war in Ukraine”.
The “Shum” performer walked onto the pitch ahead of the game at the Allianz Stadium hand in hand with Italian performer and former San Remo participant Gaia to perform John Lennon’s famous peace song. The video of the performance can be found below;
Earlier this week, Go_A were forced to postpone their European tour due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. The shows will now take place in September 2022 and February 2023.
