While it has not yet been confirmed exactly when, ‘Destination Eurovision’ is set to take place next month, with a combination of international juries and televoting selecting the winner. We expect that nine acts will take part in each live semi-final in an attempt to reach the grand final and ultimately aim for the golden ticket to Tel Aviv’s Eurovision final in May!
France will be hoping to improve on the 13th place achieved by the inaugural winners of Destination Eurovision, Madame Monsieur, whose entry “Mercy” was a pre-contest favourite and spoke of the European refugee crisis. France’s best result this decade came in 2016 with Amir’s “J’ai cherche”, which finished 6th in Stockholm.
