Honestly I don't think it is because of other nations dropping in the odds and by that sheer fact it is causing the UK to rise in the odds. I mean, sure, by this point in proceedings there will be some who will know who the act is, but it won't be enough to make the country go up enough on their own. Or maybe someone has seen one of the three or so different rumours floating about and thinks they have insider info now and are putting a bet on because of that.

Russia, France, Switzerland, Armenia, Belgium, Cyprus, Azerbaijan, Netherlands and even San Marino are just examples of a few other countries with nothing revealed about the competing songs that have shortened in the odds the past few days. It's not just the UK.

Which, well, is a fake, and the guy in question has recently slagged off the contest, so chances are the rumour was started by him to troll people. So I don't expect him to be at the contest in a few months time.
