(Ah)
Tout l'univers
Nos deux cœurs sous la terre
Au milieu des failles et des ressacs
Nous nous retrouvons au point d'impact
Comment soigner nos coeurs qui éclatent?
Tout l'univers

I liked his entry and I like this too. But I feel the same about both - they're good songs but neither really have the emotional impact on me that I think they're supposed to. Maybe it is just a language issue for me.

Nonetheless, clearly quality and worthy of a good position.

Tumblr, mostly.
Better than last year. The second and third chorus bang SO hard. This will pop live, I'm sure, as long as he gets the falsetto's right. I am iffy on that though. I've seen lives of Gjon and his face seizures up madly when he does them. So i'm cautious towards his chances, other than it being an obvious qualifier.

Still, "Répondez-moi" was a :5: for me because it was too academic. This one is more dramatic, so it's a :6:, maybe a 7 after a couple of relistens.

Operation "2020 didn't happen" is going smoothly.

In the swimming pool, always stayin' cool
At first glance, i thought looks like a sort of mix of Heroes and Arcade...
This is a BIG contender, and top 5 (and surely more) material.

In the moment, i'm giving him :10: but let's see the other listens. But wow. It doesn't even sound like a copy of Répondez-moi imo.

Pshh Barbara got nothing on this, her Edith Piaf theatrics come off as too cheap for me. This is miles ahead and actually current.

On the same level as last year, a bit more radio-friendly than Répondez Moi so that's a good point. Straight to my top 3 for the second year in a row, congrats Switzerland :12: points.

That's not a question at all imo he will sound exactly like this live or even better

Why does Switzerland sound so 'watered-down' in studio version?

As if they did it on purpose...
Instrumental and back vocals are too silent, I know they want to prepare a vocal shock for Rotterdam but we already know he can sing so it's unnecessary

Well, I don't think it's the slightest bit emotional and rather predictable as a song goes - which isn't an issue for me because not every song needs emotions and to be unique. That said, this is far better than that overrated drivel from last year, by miles. That explosive ending will sound so great live in the arena if he can hit the notes well. I feel like this is everything Blas should have done for Spain, but didn't. Such a big improvement from Switzerland.

Took me 3 listens to get the vibe of the song, and it's definitely quality. I can see this do well, but I think it's one of those who'll need a great performance on the night to do very well. It definitely has a lot of staging possibilities though

Last year's entry had darker undertones, with "Tout l’Univers" I feel a sense of wonder, hope, something that works very well with the aesthetic of "Across the universe" (and I'm a sucker for anything related to space anyway lmao).

Yes, I'm going to hype this, sue me. xangel :12:
