Too bad it didn't qualify I liked the performance, but indeed the backing vocals were too loud. I had a hope when they showed him a couple of times before pulling out the envelope.

Michael from Switzerland regarding not qualifying:

The combination of Carola, Michael and Sinieke could either be damn good or hellish depending on the song they pick.
But I wonder which country would pick them?

hey ruined the song for me, as he kept singing 'il pleut de l'or' in a higher key...and im not sure why he changed it from the original? it sounded bad...

I also think it shouldn't have come last. It was in my top 10, and I like it more than this year's Swiss entry

I sort of liked the song, but there was something off with the performance. It definitely didn't deserve last place.
