It's an homage to the late Sara Tavares, a very special girl and former ESC participant

It's an homage to Sara Tavares(esc 1996) how passed away last year, she was born in Cape Verde.

Edit: I had to check the wiki, she was born in Portugal, but her parents where from Cape Verde.

Perpetua's song is such vibes, I love their staging!

Perpetua have no experience on tv so the staging was a big surprise and better than I expected, although I doubt that they will make it to the final

Pleasantly surprised by Mela's staging, it was messy af, but she tried, if she makes it to the final I hope she can polish things and change some of the camera shots

Mila was so good, loved the minimalist colors with her projections!

Mela brought bolo do caco from Madeira, it's a kind of bread.
Perpétua had ovos moles from Aveiro, a kind of pastry.

I liked the beginning with Rita in black and white with that projection behind her. I'm not sure about the staging for the rest of the song, though.

I was so nervous for Joao's live, but he smashed it! Loved his staging (though the flashing lights might be a bit too much)!

Borsch was great, but the staging ain't it, it needed more dramatism and needed a tone shift when the eurodance starts playing.
An interesting coincidence is that him and Mela are from Madeira and both used the microphone semi circle in their stagings.

Iolanda was amazing, by far the best of the night, I'm not sure regarding the some of the camera shots, they need more shots of iolanda an less of the dancers. Also I would like to see more colours during the song.
