in memory of Kelly Fraser

Kelly Fraser was an Inuit pop singer who had been making music since 2010.
She transformed a lot over her career and even was nominated for a JUNO award (a prestigious Canadian music award).
In 2019, she took her own life.
I discovered her music this year and have been really touched by her work.
Her music offers a unique perspective and speaks to issues experienced not only within Nunavut, but universally.
