Performed by: Chiara
Music by: Marc Paelinck
Lyrics by: Gregory Bilsen
Language: English
Placing: 22nd (31 points)

Words of wisdom, prophets and quotes
Wise men talking, tales from the old
I reach for the stars, wherever they are, in darkness
We're lost, fading away

What if we could be free?
Mystify our wisdom in time
And one day we'll see
What if we found the key?
Throw the dice, unravel our lies
And learn how to be

All the madness feeding our soul
Take a wild guess out of control
There will be a star, no matter how far, shining
One day we'll sail away

What if we could be free?
Mystify our wisdom in time
And one day we'll see
What if we found the key?
Throw the dice, unravel our lies
And learn how to be

If you don't know your destination
Who determines your destiny?

What if we could be free?
Mystify our wisdom in time
And one day we'll see
What if we found the key?
Throw the dice, unravel our lies
And learn how to be

What a shame, this should be in the Top 10 if you ask me. Chiara's voice has such a nice voice and the song has a beautiful melody. It's something you could hear at a Disney show (that's a good thing).
I'm pretty sure this was the last time we saw chiara at ESC (at least for a while) but I loved all 3 songs of hers.

 And I doubt she won't be making an attempt as soon as 2011. I didn't lke this song initially but it grew on me during the ifnal perhaps. Especially, the part "If you don't know your destination, then who determines your DESTINYYYY?". :D

A nice song, but from Chiara's 3 attempts, this was the worst one. Still, didn't deserve such a low result

This song was worse than "Vodka". The only reason it passed through, its because its Chiara. She had better songs (especially "Angel"), so I did expect way better than this. Regardless, we won't see her in 2010 which is a great thing. I believe that others in Malta deserve a chance to show themselves in front of the European public. ;)

I was surprised by her 22nd place too. I thought that it would finish @ no lower than 15th.

This song was quite nice but so bad comparing to "Angel", I think it got the deserved place...Chiara's voice is very good and strong, but the song is just average, noting special. ;)

I thought 'Vodka' was much better too. :)

This was under-rated..Poor Chiara..3rd place,2nd pland and when she was thinking to the first, she got 22nd.Just like Ireland this year, just like Perrelli in 2008.Too bad.

An amazing voice, but her ballad was bound to be compared to her last two,and this one just isn't as good.
Having said that, there is an uptempo clubby remix version that I really like, and I'll always wonder if she'd score more points with this version instead.
