Kurt should have fired the girl with her 2 seconds singing part. She so screwed up!

Oh well, 7th in the semifinal is quite an achievement, for a song which was underlooked in the polls. 21st in the final was expected, but as much as I didn't really rate the song, I can say that he did my country proud.

The UK gave 2 points to Malta in the public vote, combined with 8 points from our jury. It gave Malta 5 points overall.
I wonder where the other 8 points Malta got from televoting came from.

Two from San Marino which only used jury vote and the rest probably either from Turkey, Cyprus, Italy, Sweden, Ireland or random countries. Bloody EBU that does not show us!!

Kurt Calleja in new charity song

Kurt Calleja is involved in another project in the Maltese islands. As a support for the yearly charity event organised, entitled L-Istrina, an official song, entitled Stay will be released. Five singers will be involved, who apart from Kurt Calleja, will include two former participants in the Maltese selection, Richard Edwards and Raquela. Nice performance from Kurt. As most of the other songs were stronger, this probably deserved the amount of points it got.

Indeed... the performance was one of the reasons why I voted for Malta in Semi 2.
