I don't want to dramatize events and make myself look hysterical with huge essays for attention, but I don't know where else I can post. For now, let it be here. To my regret, I have encountered things on the forum that make me feel superfluous, or feel discriminated against on my nationality and persistent dislike for me by people in certain circles of this forum. I have recently encountered unwarranted censorship without explanation. While I'm waiting for an explanation from the moderators, I don't feel happy to be here, all I feel is resentment for myself and injustice that I don't have the energy to fight. The internet is a place for joy, and a contest for discovery. It's hard for me to play when I think about the fact that any word I say could be a signal for a ban. While I'm waiting for an explanation, I'd like to take a break. If all goes well, I'll be back before the end of entries, but if not, I'm afraid my time here on the forum has come to an end.

I expected to reach 100 editions in WV first but I don't think that will happen for now :')

So, as some people know, I moved to Europe last September to start a MA degree, and my time has considerably reduced since then. These past few months have been super stressful for me because I just had a LOT of stuff to do so I was nearly failing to vote/voting super closer to the deadline (and, to be honest, there were several moments since then that I couldn't even listen to the songs in full because I simply had no time :') and that's something I don't like to do. I thought vacations would give me more time but I ended up having less time because of some health concerns I had to deal with (everything is fine, though, so don't worry!).

What mainly made me make this decision is that starting next week my classes will return and I will achieve one of my longtime dreams: I'm going to Flopan my uni in Portugal has a partnership program with a Japanese university and I applied to study a semester there. Guess what? I passed!!! But since I'll be in another country (yet again), I will have even less time, especially as I will start my dissertation there and I need to do some fieldwork. If I could barely cope with all the deadlines while staying at home, imagine now that I'll be outside most of the time.

Moreover, once I return from Flopan, I have to 1. finish my dissertation by September/24, and 2. go on an urgent job hunt if I want to stay in Europe, so my focus will be entirely on these two tasks. I want to return once my MA is done/I'm properly settled in Europe but I can't guarantee anything, and I can't predict when that will happen.

Either way, you can find me in NSC or in Discord!!!!! Feel free to talk, I just take a lot of time to respond.

This is one of the biggest losses I have to experience here, but I’m also super happy for you that you’ll be able to go to Flopan.
I was close to moving there too, but I quit because I didn’t like the concept of the school. I’ll probably regret it but you’ll have to live my dream now.
I hope you’ll return some day, when there is more quiet in your life.
