Ho sognato di volare con te
Su una bici di diamanti
Mi hai detto: "Sei cambiato, non vedo
Più la luce nei tuoi occhi"

La tua paura cos'è?
Un mare dove non tocchi mai
Anche se il sesso non è
La via di fuga dal fondo

Dai, non scappare da qui
Non lasciarmi così
Nudo con i brividi
A volte non so esprimermi

E mi vengono i brividi, brividi, brividi

E tu, sei come un pugile all'angolo

Nudo con i brividi
A volte non so esprimermi

E mi vengono i brividi, brividi, brividi

Dimmi che non ho ragione
E vivo dentro una prigione
E provo a restarti vicino

Nudo con i brividi
A volte non so esprimermi

E mi vengono i brividi, brividi, brividi

After roasting Italian entries for the past few years I gotta admit that this one is ... actually interesting. Not sure what to make of it just yet but you have my attention and that`s usually a good thing (in terms of my ranking at the end)

Ok it is Italy and I know we all must be clapping with our ears but this song is pfff. The falsettos, specially Mahmoods sound like chalk on blackboard. People "like" this bc of the homo thing and how avantgarde we all are.
Nah, I disagree here. The 'homo thing' might appeal some, but I'm sure people like it for reasons as simple as personal taste. Certainly I don't care at all about the homo thing XD (with all due respect for gays). I agree Mahmood's falsetto can be annoying though, yeah.

It is sooooo bad when straight people need to apologize for anything they say that includes the word 'gay'...

I mean to me there's nothing wrong about the homo side of the song (I've read different interpretations here though), and I'd understand some gays feel represented or touched by Brividi, but it just doesn't have any influence on my opinon.

Edit: and it's not an apologize, it's a remark.

random thought when listening to sanremo recaps: why are many italian singers their voices so raspy?
The raspy voice has been adopted many years ago, when Louis Armstrong sung in Sanremo. The majority of the Italian singers, at that time, were tenors. A raspy voice was adopted as a new trend, to make the singing a bit dirty, suffered and not so clean and perfect like the tenor voices. Usually a raspy voice is fitted to rock, blues, jazz songs and these genres are very appreciated by the Italian songwriters. The most famous Italian cantautori (songwriters&singers) have had and have raspy voices, Lucio Battisti, De Gregori, Lucio Dalla, De André, Guccini ect ect and all the actual songwriters have been inspired by them, Mahmood and Blanco too.
As you have noticed, or maybe not, all the male singers are also authors of their songs. A simple singer has a lot of difficulties to get into the Italian music industry, some of them have won X Factor or Amici, famous talent shows, but then got lost (Lorenzo Licitra or Alberto Urso) All the most famous actual male singers are songwriters and most of them have raspy voices
