I think this will be the first time after 2002! And I see Greek media focusing a lot in the Cypriot entry this year, because Ivi is one of the most popular young singers in Greece! Unlike the past years, when we were sending completely unknown singers to the Greek audience (Christos Mylordou, Christina Metaxa, Evdokia Kadi, Jon Lilygreen & the Islanders). I expect the Greek diaspora to support us too!

And please, I ask for a miracle to happen and Aphrodisiac not win!

^I see Dora having bad live vocals, but she was still very young in 2007, so we cannot judge from that! I guess she improved since then!
And Eleftheria, she's such a snob! You can clearly see the "wannabe cute and sexy" look easily! Not to mention she's 1.50m with the hands up! :lol: She changed a lot since XF! She looked very down-to-earth back then.
So, Velvet Fire sing No Parking! Velvet Fire to Baku, please! They're great and their song is the only fresh and modern one!

Let’s hope that Dora took some vocal classes since then. ;) But come on now, Eleftheria looks fine. I don’t think you can call her a snob for her poses. She is doing what the photographer is telling her at a photo shoot. Obviously she has to sell the sexy look for her song this year. This is not new anyway, just look at her music video and photo shoot for “Kentro Tou Kosmou” directly after X Factor.

As for Velvet Fire, there is no chance for them in my opinion. :lol: Like I said, I think it will be close for other 3 songs, but when it comes down to the NF it will be against "Aphrodisiac" and "Baby I'm Yours".

"Aphrodisiac" is so ridiculously cheap. It's not even catchy. Just soulless noise. Not surprised it's the favourite though. Most Eurovision fans have hopelessly bad taste. They can't tell plastic from gold.. And now you probably think i'm an a**hole for saying that :lol:
As for the rest... MEEEH!
The only song i could bare to listen to straight through was "No Parking" - The only song with a personality and a melody of it's own.

In Kentro Tou Kosmou (oh, I love this song, one of my favorites from the previews years) she looks natural! I didn't say that if someone wants to look sexy is fake! But here she looks fake! I got this impression by seeing her in that video!

By the way, in 2007 Sarbel was last in all the polls, and he won! So, everything can happen!

I'll cheer for No Parking in the NF, without any doubt! And then, Killer Bee!

Btw, Aphrodisiac IS catchy! And that's soooo bad! It stuck in my head now, along with "Seviyorum seni s' agapao poly"!

They would be the perfect choice for Eurovision with "No Parking". We don't need more cheap dance music this year.. and btw, It's 2012!!! Velvet Fire is the only contemporary act in the final.

The National Final (12 March) will take place in one of the biggest Malls in Athens, and will be like a concert. from startv

I've never heard of Elena Panayi. For sure, she's not someone from XF or Greek Idol, and I don't remember her name being in any Cypriot NF in the past, so she must be a completely new face.

As I see, Dora is getting the attention of the media because she's the ex-girlfriend of Menegaki's brother? Ah ok.... And they said that they didn't reveal the names of the singers of each song to avoid focusing in the specific person or the composers!

Demy would be a good choice for this year, since ERT wanted to have only young artists in the NF, but she is not in Universal Music. If I'm not mistaken, she's in Heaven Music.

I totally agree! I would like "No Parking" to win. Otherwise I wouldn't be disappointed with "Killer Bee". But the rest is not my cup of tea. Nevertheless, I look forward for the live performances as well. This will be the moment of truth for everyone!

I will also look forward to that! I hope Velvet Fire is the best live. I could definitely imagine them being very energetic and charismatic on stage. I only hope the girl sings well. Then i think it will be even more obvious that they HAVE to win :)
