Welcome to FSC Song Submissions


Please submit your entries ( Main entry + Back Up ) for FSC #148 June 2021


The deadline: 29.05.2021, 23:59 CET

Songs ( Main entry + Back Up ) are submitted ( by HOJ )
via your FSC Private Forum - or by a PM to me, Malagant
Keep in mind that the songs/artists are not allowed to be revealed until
all entries have been officially announced at the start of a new FSC-month

Please include: Artist/Songtitle/Release Date/MP3 file/Video (Official/Picture)
If you don’t have an MP3 file/video at hand, please contact the FSC Show Mod Host for assistance
For MP3 songfiles-upload please use Sendspace or Dropbox (they are safe, trusted filesharing sites)

A Back-Up entry is compulsory (mandatory) for all countries in the FSC
It is submitted together with / at the same time as the Main entry
For Back Up entries (used if the Main entry is dq) it is necessary to submit ‘name of
artist & songtitle + release date’ (video/MP3 links may be submitted later, if needed)

Please ensure All entries are eligible (National artist/Not older than 12 months/No cover)
If the submitted entries are not eligible according to the FSC Rules, they will not be allowed to participate in the FSC

Please inform in Song Submission thread when you posted entries in your FSC Private Forum
It helps FSC Mods, we can go check quickly and makes it easier to complete the confirmation process efficiently & well

Entries (with above supplements) submitted after the set Deadline will not be accepted
We strongly encourage all FSC member-countries to submit entries soon and not to wait until the last minute
If entries are submitted after the set Deadline, then that/those country/ies will have to sit out this FSC-edition

I think it's best if I take a break from FSC for the foreseeable future. I always leave the voting to the last minute and I end up making stupid mistakes like the one I made this month. Thank you for all the memories and wonderful songs!!

We are sad to see you leave the FSC, but understand that life can become too busy. Thank you for your time with us and for all the great songs you have shared from Canada

Recent changes: Romania left FSC, while Canada left but rejoined with a new juror. Lithuania and Russia are back.

Announcement: FSC Going Forward

To the FSC Community,

The FSC Mod team has always worked hard to service you, our members and our community in the best fashion possible, running the FSC over 12 successful years. It is a responsibility we have taken seriously because FSC means much to us all. We have wanted FSC to be a quality song contest, professionally run (with FSC Rules) and properly administered for everyone’s enjoyment. We have always been there for our members, new and old, giving help and assistance and embracing everyone in our community.

We have also always been open for ideas and feedback from our members, but with the recent reactions from several members f.ex. here in this thread we realize that the impression has been different for many and that we have not succeeded well enough in this regard. We have done our best but for this we are sorry. We want to emphasize that we have heard your concerns and suggestions and are willing to listen. We will work to have a more meaningful interaction with you, our valued members in the future.

But the future is in fact already here. To show that we want to involve you a little more, we want to give you the opportunity to take charge of our cherished FSC Spin-Off concept. Some of you wanted something “fresh”, something “new” and this is your chance. If you wish for it, the FSC Spin-Offs can be yours to manage however you see fit. The FSC Spin-Offs have been managed by our members in earlier years while in recent years the FSC Mods have taken the responsibility. An added bonus to this could be that it would be possible to have FSC Spin-Offs more regularly, as many members have wanted, since they would be managed by persons not otherwise occupied with FSC Mod-tasks.

The FSC Mod team has considered having a surprise celebratory FSC Spin-Off in August since we reach the 150th FSC-edition landmark that month. We leave this idea in your hands, if you want it, but we think it is a fun idea with many possibilities.

We are always here for you. Thank you for being valued members of our FSC Community!

And so it is now possible for countries to promote their entries in the FSC Promotion thread and/or in their separate public country-threads.

The FSC #148 June 2021 MP3-archives (with all the songs) will be posted in the FSC Private Member Forum later tonight and the FSC June 2021 Show will be posted tomorrow evening, Wednesday!

Me too, although usually the LL:s and shows are on times that often don't work well for me, I would personally prefer if they'd be a couple of hours earlier.
