When comparing the semis, it currently seems as if semi 2 is the hardest to qualify from. No matter how I look at it, Denmark looks like a borderline qualifier. Which makes it all the more problematic that Saba's vocals are so shaky. When only a few votes are going to make a big difference, Denmark will need a strong vocal performance, and I doubt she can deliver it. She may be trying to improve her voice this spring, but that could easily be cancelled out by her nervousness when she hits the stage.

Perhaps DR will try to add an even louder backing track - there seems to be no limit to the amount of backing tracks allowed at Eurovision these days.

Denmark isn't exactly a Eurovision stronghold: Saba's "Sand" barely made it into the singles chart before it disappeared again. The song reached a 36th place which is actually worse than Reiley last year.

Did any of the others chart?

While there were 8 minutes to send in televotes in Denmark after the last song, there were 28 minutes in Sweden! (And Melfest is even regarded as a quick show.)

I am a bit conflicted. I like it, but I feel like it will be too anonymous for televoting (like :dk: 2017). I don't see it as a safe qualifier, but enjoy the tune (y)

She knows what she's doing but the song is so bland and generic... It's not unpleasant and you keep it in mind but there's nothing really winning your heart in it...

I hope for a qualifier here, its a little generic and in the semi I think it will be borderline to qualify.

I'm unsure about this song. It's nice, but I don't think I'll listen to it often

I know this song is generic, and sounds like a Sweden entry from 10 years ago, BUT, it is by far my most played Eurovision song this year. I can't get enough of it.
The whole Melfest 2024 sounded like something from 10 years ago.

This is the only song I always forget about this year... Have listened to it several times but nothing sticks. Being the most forgettable entry I have to give this a 0.

Denmark is 23rd in the odds as we speak - the highest placement since Melodi Grand Prix, I believe.

It could be because of the pre-shows? I just don't think Saba did anything to prove that her vocals are on point. I still think her first verse sounds badly, and the chorus is a bit screamish.
