Best Year Ever

Don't know if there's a similar thread somewhere, but what is in your opinion the best ESC-year ever?

My personal favorite is 1992. It's one of the first ones I watched, and there were a lot of great songs that year.

In the recent years my favourite years are 1998, 2003, 2009 and 2012.

2007. It's also the year when I started watching the ESC.

I like ESC that was in Tallinn, because it was the first one from which I can remember any song.
And then, I have 2 criteria for ranking the ESC:
1) songs: 2009, 2012
2) hosting: 2008, 2009, 2011

And I really liked the good luck wishes from politicians, too bad they didn't continue with this.

Most songs sucked that year. It was the worst one for me.

Yeah, that's a great one. Croatia from that year is in my all-time top-3.

I am not that old fan but I would say 2009 or 2012 or 2010 or 2008 or 2005.

That was Nostalgija, wasn't it? I adore that song, it is just pure art.
Edit: Nostalgija was in 1996, that year was Sveta ljubav - also a very nice song.

Turkey was even a disaster.
