There are indications that Eleftheria Eleftheriou might be working with choreographer Nikos Marianos. If true, I hope the male dance moves aren't effeminate like they were for Nikki Ponte's stage show last year....

Since it's all coming from the same record company I think we're safe.

In a press release issued today, ERT, the Greek national broadcaster announces the procedure through which the country will select their representative in the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest. 4 acts will compete in the final on March 12th and although the songs will be released online on the 28th February, the names of the artists will not be revealed until the 1st March.

Finally we have a firm date! I think the whole "mystery" thing is dumb though. We are going to find out who the songs belong to right away anyway, stuff like that can never be kept secret. Especially with ERT! I mean we practically know that Eleftheria Eleftheriou and Velvet Fire are most likely 2 of acts.

Well, if we'll know it doesn't make much difference anyway, would it? And anyhow, I'm sure they know people will recognize who the singers are. It just means that in the first few days the "official" focus won't be about putting up nice pictures and bios of the singers on the official website and pages. I also suspect that the composers are probably more known than the singers and they don't want to give someone an initial advantage by their song being composed by someone well known. Sure, I'm pretty certain Velvet Fire's composer will be Leo Chantzaras, but his name won't say much to most people. If there are names in the line up that ARE big enough it is nice to keep it secret for a few days.

It's Greece, something has to leak when it comes to ESC!
But I think the idea of not revealing the artist names is a bit foolish.
The only thing it will inspire is even more speculation if the artists end up being randoms. Otherwise it wont really be hard for fans of these singers to identify who they are.
Good point, but like always all that information will probably leak before ERT announce it themselves.

Tralala.gr confirms that Eleftheria Eleftheriou is working with choreographer Nikos Marianos and posted a photo of her at rehearsals. Like I said before, I really hope they do not make the same mistake as they did last year with Nikki Ponte's show.

There is a report going around saying that there is a press release out by ERT stating that the NF will be broadcast on ET1 this year instead of NET. None of the major news sites have reported anything though, and the news does not appear on ERT's site either.

There will still be some rumors,becouse we will not know immediatelly who wrote the songs,
but at least we will hear the songs,and TRY to understand who is singing (becouse neither that is going to be revealed tomorrow)
