Welcome to an episode of history with Uto. Odessa is the location of perhaps the single most important scene in cinema history, which is the scene on the Potemkin Steps (now named after the movie). Would be too much to go into detail a lot, also because I'm not an expert by any means, but basically you will see a massive effort here in lining up shots, working with shadows and lighting (the high contrast is incessant) and very quick and dynamic montage.
