Our “Expert” Panel continues for another year, with 15 members of the ESC United team having sat down to review the hopefuls that were set to represent their nations at Eurovision 2020 in Rotterdam!

As a quick reminder, the rules of our “Expert” Panel are simple; our team provide a score for each entry between 1 and 10, with .5 scores also possible – 1 being terrible and 10 being a perfect score and an amazing entry. Each entry will also have a video, where Matt will discuss the entry with three members of the panel and provide their rationales for their points for the song.

Time to see which song is next up…

Our next focus point is Switzerland’s Gjon’s Tears, who was chosen to represent the Central European nation with the French language (with a hint of Albanian) entry “Répondez-moi”. Did it move our panel?

As usual we also asked our forum readers and members to share their votes on the song, with the Forum score being attributed as a massive 8.36 for Switzerland!

But what does this mean for our ranking? In the end, Switzerland earned an average of 7.87 across our jury, which is enough to put them in second place behind the leaders Iceland!
