Ahead of this weekend’s French selection for Eurovision 2021, we wanted to get to know the artists a little better, and learn what drove them to participate in the competition.

Today, we have some quick questions with Céphaz, who will sing “On a mangé le soleil” this Saturday at the French selection, Eurovision France – C’est vous qui décidez. We chatted about how he’s getting ready for the show, his upcoming performance and favorite Eurovision songs!

Hi Céphaz! Thank you for having a chat with us. How are you preparing yourself for the big day? Can you give us some details about your performance?

I’ve been having a lot of rehearsals lately and I’m doing my best to relax. All I can tell you is that my performance will be colorful and vibrant!

After your musical journey rich in experiences, what led you to participate in the Eurovision selection?

The desire to internationalize myself musically, to share my message with Europe, which we are all involved in 😊.

What message do you want to share with “On a mangé le soleil”?

I want to awaken awareness of overconsumption to people with cheerfulness, positivity. ☀️

What is your favorite ESC song? And your favorite French Eurovision song?

I don’t necessarily have a favorite Eurovision song, there are so many!

And my favorite French Eurovision song, the choice is difficult, but I really liked “J’ai cherché” by Amir 🙂

Thank you for your time Céphaz! We wish you the best of luck in C’est vous qui décidez!

Céphaz will take part in this Saturday’s Eurovision France, c’est vous qui décidez with the song “On a mangé le soleil”, hoping to represent France in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam.
