Earlier this week, we asked #YOU to tell us who your favourite act in “Australia Decides” was, and the response was astounding! With over 500 votes cast in the poll, here’s what #YOU have decided…

In first place we have Electric Fields with “2000 and Whatever”, whose blend of Pitjantjara lyrics, wild vocals and electronic beats impressed 32% of our voters. Second place went to indie rock band Sheppard with “On My Way”, with 19% of the vote.

Third place in our poll went to Kate Miller-Heidke’s poperatic entry “Zero Gravity”, which was narrowly behind Sheppard on 18%.

#YOU can see the full result and vote in our poll HERE.

Will Electric Fields have enough to become victorious in Australia’s selection? There’s just a few hours to go until the show, so stay tuned!
